ABOUT ME
Dr. Kathy Hugue
Ed.D., Ed. S.. M.Div.
Certified Life Coach | Educator | Trainer | Speaker ) Over 20 Years of Experience)
My Story & Formation
I am a life coach practitioner, parent educator, administrator, trainer, and public speaker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, parents, families, educators, and ministry leaders. My work is rooted in Christian faith and shaped by years of walking alongside people through growth, transition, trauma, and healing.
I believe that personal growth, leadership, parenting, and service are sacred callings—ones that deserve thoughtful support, practical tools, and spiritual grounding. Gifting Transformative Change was born from a desire to help adults build strong inner foundations so they can live, lead, and serve with confidence, compassion, and passion.
I have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. I am truly blessed and very thankful. However, in my life, I have encountered both good days and hardships and truly understand the scripture, “He comforts us in all our tribulations, that we might be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” (2 Corinthians 1:4).
I am God’s daughter. One who loves communion in nature, enjoys walks in the park, and looks forward to spending time with family and friends. I love the lakes, trees, peace, community, and fellowship that I have found in Cornelius, North Carolina. I have provided coaching and educational services in Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida, and I am excited to be offering services in North Carolina.
"Together, we declare our Identity in Christ Jesus and we walk in His purposes.
An Integrative Foundation
My work draws from an integrative foundation of education, pastoral coaching, spiritual formation, and trauma-informed practice. I have served individuals and families across ministry, nonprofit, and academic settings, bridging faith-based wisdom with evidence-informed approaches to emotional resilience, personal growth, and lasting change.
I have served with The Restoration Center of Jacksonville as a pastoral coach and facilitator, providing parent education, developing curriculum, and facilitating online learning communities. I have also worked as a pastoral counselor with James Counseling and Consulting in Jacksonville, Florida.
With 20 years of ministry experience, I have served in a variety of leadership, care, and stewardship roles. Across these settings, I have provided trauma-aware, stress-reduction, and goal-oriented support to individuals and families seeking greater restoration, clarity, and wholeness.
